Prof Chidi Nzeadibe

Chidi Nzeadibe is Professor of Environmental Management & Sustainability in the Department of Geography, and a Senior Research Fellow at the Resource and Environmental Policy Research Centre (REPRC), University of Nigeria, Nsukka. His areas of teaching and research expertise include Sustainable Environmental Management, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, Climate Change Awareness and Indigenous innovations for Adaptation, and Gender and development. He is currently the Principal Investigator in the project Gender analysis of vulnerability to flood risk in farming and fishing communities of Kogi State, Nigeria (funded by Environment for Development Initiative (EfD), Gothenburg University, Sweden).

He will handle Introduction Section, Environmental performance in food system and Social ecological resilience in food systems in Nigeria

 

Chinedu Lilian Mba

Chinedu Lilian Mba has a PhD in Agricultural Geography and she is a Lecturer in the Department of Geography, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Her areas of teaching and research expertise include climate change adaptation and resilience, sustainable food and animal production and food security, soil and environmental management. She has published many articles in reputable international and national journals and books. She has been involved in teaching, research and supervision of undergraduate students.  

She will handle Part of Introduction section, Right to food and Social ecological resilience in food systems in Nigeria

 

Professor Mabel Ukamaka Dimelu

Mabel Ukamaka  Dimelu is a Professor of Agricultural Administration in the  Department of Agricultural Extension, University of Nigeria Nsukka. She had Ph.D. and  M.Sc.  degrees in Agricultural Administration in 1994 and 2000, respectively.  She has been involved in research, teaching, and supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students.  Her areas of research interest are human resource training and capacity building for agricultural and rural development, innovation transfer, evaluation/assessment studies, agricultural innovation systems, climate change, gender studies, competency analysis among others. She has many publications in reputable international and national journals and made contributions to books. 

She will handle Part of Introduction section and food security in Nigeria.

 

Mr Godslove Sunday Nnadi

Mr. Nnadi Godslove Sunday was born on 4th September 1988. He obtained a B.sc and Msc, (Rural geography) in Geography from the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) in 2011 and 2018 respectively. Similarly, obtained a PGD in Education from National Teachers Institute, in 2014. Currently, he is lecturer at the department of Geography, UNN. His research interests are in areas of Rural food system, development and Sustainability. He has published in reputable international and local journals and also participated at the 4th International Conference on Global food security held 6th-9th December 2020 at Le corum Montpellier, France, where he presented a paper titled: Scenario based assessment of food security in rural communities of Enugu State, Nigeria.

He will handle Part of Introduction section and Poverty and inequality in food systems in Nigeria
